Team Fusion was born in the summer of 2000, with a dream that domestic cars could compete in the street scene. Imports like Honda, Mitsubishi, Acura, etc. were the enemy, but we gradually outgrew this concept (as proof, the team's current quarter mile record is held by a Nissan). Since then, just about every carmaker has been represented.

In 2002, Team Fusion played an important role in the racing community that helped get RMR's Midnight Drag's off the ground, (which remained a main attraction in Utah's race scene until the fall of 2018). A few years later, Team Fusion took an aggressive approach to heavily modify the car roster. But the potential of Fusion never made it to complete fruition and in 2006, the team members went their separate ways. In 2013 the Team Fusion brand was resurrected, returned to racing at RMR, and reintroduced itself to the current street racing community.

Today, Team Fusion has one active member. We are currently assisting the 801 Racing Scene group with publishing media content, and various community events. Other groups Team Fusion works with (all can be found on Facebook) include Mtn. States TBSS, State Street SL,UT, and Racecar Fam. The team had made an appearance on a Underworld of Utah video, and regular showings on the Clifford Wilkinson YouTube Channel.
